Outtake from my photo shoot

Thanks to amazing photographer and friend, Brian Moss, my photo shoot produced so many possible shots to use for this year’s NYC Sex Blogger Calendar that choosing was difficult. With Brian’s help, and keeping the theme, Expressions of Sexual Freedom, a priority, we were able to pick a photo that another phenomenal photographer we were lucky enough to snag for the calendar, Barbara Nitke, called haunting, and that truly represents the concept to me.

In the meantime, this is a shot that was universally loved by everyone who saw it and that I’ll probably end up hanging somewhere in my house. I love it too and almost chose it, but it in the end it just wasn’t THE shot.

It was worth laying in a bed strewn with the carcasses of dead lady bugs and the hives I got either from cavorting in the grass (it was a month ago and I’m still checking for ticks) or the accumulated dust present in a creepy but very cool abandoned farmhouse.
