Ask me about sexual freedom and my answer today is that it’s the right to do what you want when it comes to your sexy times. It’s about enjoying consensual sexual activity; a liberty guaranteed in the 14th Amendment. It’s about being you and accepting and loving yourself for how you get and give love, orgasms, or whatever it is you do when you define sex. Basically, it’s expressing yourself in ways that feel good to you.

Me? I’m a TMI talking, sex educating, loud laughing, movie making, book writing machine who’s more of a tease than a pro dom, and I’m just doing what I love. And thanks to the ridiculously talented eye of Ellen Stagg, I got to show it off in the 2010 Sex Bloggers Calendar.

In honor of sexual freedom, I decided to write the rest of my post as poetry:

Soapbox of Sexual Freedom

Ahem…

S ometimes it’s not so easy to define

E veryone has an opinion of what’s sexy, what flicks our switch; turns us on & off.

X cept there are some who don’t like sexual freedom; they suck & not in a good way

U have the right to be who you are & to love yourself for who you choose to be

A nd when it comes to the inalienable right 2 live true 2 your pleasure = sexual freedom

L ove and sex aren’t always the same, but why don’t we learn about both in school?

F uck sex (I mean teach it too, but) what about classes in how to communicate?

R eally, sex education isn’t only about learning 102 new sex positions

E ven if that’s what some people want you to believe

E veryone has the right to sexual and sensual education when it comes to their being

D emand comprehensive sex ed to help foster a society where sexual freedom flourishes

O h, & what you see in porn is not (often) the type of sex you’ll aim to have in real life

M any thanks for letting me stand on this soapbox

Stepping off now…
