A Model A Day – Jiz Lee
Starting off our A Model A Day series, we’re happy to start off with the one and only Jiz Lee. Jiz loves this shot because it pays homage to San Francisco, with one tower of the Golden Gate Bridge smack in between Jiz’s cartwheeling thighs, and it shows off their silly side. Silly or not, Jiz is a beautiful creature, inside and out. Jiz Lee is a GenderQueer Porn Star whose interest in blogging has defined their career and helped ignite a renaissance in queer porn. Moving to San Francisco from Hawai`i, Jiz began working with director Shine Louise Houston in 2005 and not long after, created JizLee.com as a means to archive and expand upon experiences as a queer performing in pornography. This online presence lead to recognition in both geek and porn circles, such as having appeared in Top Ten lists from Fleshbot.com and Violet Blue’s Sexy Geeks, nominated AVN Awards Best New Web Star, and honored as Feminist Porn Awards’ Boundary Breaker. Throughout the years,Jiz navigated many genres and production styles with an organic “self-agent” work process and recorded the journey with posts that range in topic from gender and sexuality to casting and sex tips. Readers from co-stars to fellow bloggers and industry leaders to supportive fans have connected to Jiz through the site and have reinforced the importance of diverse sex-positive representation in sexual media. In an experiment to connect sex commerce to their community involvement, Jiz launched “Karma Pervs”, a monthly philanthropic porn fundraiser which raises money for community-based non-profit organizations who advocate for the rights of sex workers and queers. Ever sexually curious and optimistic, Jiz has found validation, friendship, love, and inspiration through pornography.
